Artificial intelligence in Terra CMMS
Terra CMMS is part of Terra ERP, so it has the same artificial intelligence (AI) tools: a virtual AI assistant that helps you work with the software around the clock, and AI document digitization that moves documents into the system without manual retyping. For maintenance work, the AI also suggests the cause of a fault, finds similar past faults and forecasts part replacements.
Document digitization
Spare parts purchase documents, consignment notes and other documents reach Terra CMMS:
- photographed with a phone;
- sent by email (PDF or photo);
- scanned paper documents.
The AI recognizes the document data and moves it into the system, so it doesn't have to be retyped by hand.
AI assistant 24/7
Online help at any time of day. The assistant:
- explains how to do an action in the software;
- finds data in the system;
- prepares documents and reports;
- passes the question to the Terra IT team if it can't find the answer itself.
AI for maintenance work
From the equipment history and warehouse data the AI makes suggestions, and a person makes the decision:
- it names the likely cause of a fault and the spare part needed;
- it finds similar past faults;
- it forecasts part replacement and suggests restocking.
